Lorenz Larkin is now looking to move weight classes once again, this time dropping even lower to the welterweight division. Following his third straight loss in the Octagon at UFC 177, Larkin posted about his disappointment and weight plans on Twitter.
<blockquote class=”twitter-tweet” lang=”en”><p>Sorry everybody but I think it's my time to listen to my coaches and team and drop to 170 sorry about the fight <a href=”https://twitter.com/ufc”>@ufc</a> <a href=”https://twitter.com/ParadigmSM”>@ParadigmSM</a></p>— Lorenz Larkin (@da_MONSOON) <a href=”https://twitter.com/da_MONSOON/statuses/505924064792555521″>August 31, 2014</a></blockquote>

After starting his MMA career 13-0, Larkin is now on a three-fight losing streak with the UFC. He first cut from light heavyweight to middleweight back in 2012 and saw a victory against current welterweight contender Robbie Lawler while they were still under the Strikeforce banner. Since then, Larkin moved to the UFC and is now holding a 1-4 record inside the Octagon.
While nothing official has been said or hinted at, it does leave some fans to wonder whether we will be able to see Larkin come back one more time under his new weight class. Usually, after a three fight losing streak, the UFC will start making cuts from the roster.
