Invicta FC 8 Main Event Loser Was 47 Years Old


Age isn’t always a factor in a sport like Mixed Martial Arts, but Invicta FC is finding themselves amidst a bit of controversy following Satuday night’s lopsided main event on UFC Fight Pass.

Invicta champion Michelle Waterson, at 28-years old, successfully defended her strap against an obviously outmatched Yasuko Tamada. Following the bout it was confirmed that the challenger was indeed an out-of-prime 47-year old journey-woman with no real business in a championship bout.

To make things worse, many point to this as evidence against the company.
